    Aiutare gli studenti a raggiungere una competenza linguistica in Inglese di livello B1 in Inglese, secondo la Common
    European Framework of Reference for Languages, attraverso un approccio funzionale comunicativo.

    Prerequisiti

    Prerequisiti Minimi: Conoscenza dell'Inglese a livello A2.

    Metodologie didattiche

    Attraverso un approccio funzionale/comunicativo e CALL (Computer-assisted language learning), si promuovono attività comunicative circolari (listening- watching, reading-speaking, translating) che simulano contesti interattivi reali, e si procederà dall’utilizzo di websites didattici e divulgativi all’analisi/fruizione di selezionati esempi di comunicazione, anche scientifica (Content Based Language Learning).

    Metodi di valutazione

    Esame orale: lettura e comprensione dei testi di riferimento: discussione in lingua inglese.Criteri di valutazione: competenza comunicativa e accuratezza lessico-grammaticale.

    Course objectives

    The achievement of B1 linguistic competence in English, according to the Common
    European Framework of Reference for Languages, through a functional/communicative approach.

    Prerequisites

    Minimum prerequisite: A2 English competence.

    Teaching methods

    Following a communicative notional -functional approach, enhanced through CALL, listening/reading and comprehension activities take place during the course, as well as (oral/written) discussion and translation of both popular and scientific articles (Content Based Language Learning).

    Evaluation methods

    Oral test: reading &comprehension of the selected materials. Guided discussion in English.
    The candidates' communicative ability and lexico-grammar accuracy will be evaluated.
