    Obiettivi formativi

    Apprendimento delle basi fisiopatologiche delle malattie dell'apparato digerente e saper identificare i principali sintomi e segni delle malattie del canale alimentare al fine di costruire un appropriato algoritmo diagnostico e terapeutico

    Conoscenze di Anatomia e Fisiologia del canale alimentare e del fegato

    Metodi di valutazione

    La prova orale intende accertare l’apprendimento delle conoscenze sulle malattie dell'apparato digerente. Lo studente deve dimostrare di avere un’adeguata conoscenza delle basi fisiopatologiche delle malattie di apparato digerente e fegato e di essere in grado di analizzare e collegare i differenti argomenti. Allo studente verrà chiesto di risolvere semplici problemi clinici sulla base della descrizione dei segni e dei sintomi di una patologia, nonché di descrivere le principali indicazioni terapeutiche.

    Course objectives

    The pathophysiological basis of GI diseases; Ability to identify the main symptoms and signs of the diseases of th eGI tract in order to design an appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic algorithm

    Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the GI tract and liver

    lectures with slides and presentation of clinical cases

    Evaluation methods

    The oral exam covers all the aspects of the theory of gastroenterology The student should be able to discuss specific topics and be able to connect and analyze the different data
    Moreover, the student must have a deep knowledge of the pathophysiological basis of GI and liver diseases.
    In order to test the acquisition of this ability the student will be asked to solve simple clinical cases dealing with the main diseases of gut and liver. manifestation, etc.
