    Obiettivi formativi

    Al termine del corso, gli studenti devono conoscere e capire le basi patofisiologiche, i quadri clinici e le indicazioni e tecniche chirurgiche delle più importanti patologie del cuore e dei grossi vasi. Devono aver acquisito la capacità di identificare le più importanti sindromi nella patologia cardiovascolare e discutere con colleghi o informare i pazienti in merito alla gestione clinica e alle opzioni terapeutiche di tali sindromi.

    Prerequisiti

    Conoscenza di:
    - Anatomia umana normale del cuore e del sistema cardiocircolatorio
    - Fisiologia del cuore e del sistema cardiocircolatorio
    - Patologia del cuore e del sistema cardiocircolatorio

    Basi di metodologia clinica e diagnostica per immagini.

    Metodologie didattiche

    - Lezioni frontali
    - AFP

    Metodi di valutazione

    Esame orale.
    Minimo due quesiti per esame.
    Requisiti minimi per il superamento:
    - conoscenza delle patologie incluse nel programma formativo, e in particolare dei loro aspetti fisiopatologici, clinici e chirurgici
    - saper indicare gli iter diagnostico-terapeutici delle situazioni cliniche cardiovascolari più paradigmatiche
    - padronanza degli aspetti tecnici e tecnologici correlati alla pratica della cardiochirurgia e presentati nelle lezioni frontali

    Non ammesso l'utilizzo di libri di testo, internet o altro materiale didattico durante l'esame. Non consentito l'utilizzo di alcun, materiale informatico durante la prova.

    Course objectives

    By the End of this Course, the students should know and understand the physiopathological bases, the clinical pictures and indications and techniques of surgical treatment of the most important cardiac and great vessel diseases. They should be able to identify the most important syndromes in cardiovascular disease and discuss with peer or inform patients about their clinical management and therapeutic options.

    Prerequisites

    Knowledge of:
    - Normal Anatomy of the Human Heart and Cardiocirculatory System
    - Physiology of the Human Heart and Cardiocirculatory System
    - Pathology of the Human Heart and Cardiocirculatory System

    Basic Concepts of:
    - Clinical Methods and Semeiotics
    - Cardiovascular Imaging

    Evaluation methods

    Oral examination.
    At least two questions per exam.
    Minimal requirements for passing the exam:
    - knowledge of the diseases included in the content list and in particular of their physiopathological clinical and surgical aspects;
    - ability to draw the typical diagnostic-therapeutic management schemes of the most paradigmatic cardiovascular conditions;
    - mastering the technical and technological aspects related to cardiac surgical practice and presented at the lectures.

    The use of textbooks, internet or any other didactic material is not allowed during the exam. No consultation of informatics material is allowed during the exam.
