    • Teoria tecnica per l'esecuzione delle suture ( principali tecniche)
    • Clinica e riconoscimento delle principali patologie mammarie
    • Fisiopatologia della cicatrizzazione delle ferite

    Definizione e limiti della Chirurgia Plastica Ricostruttiva ed Estetica
    Guarigione delle ferite: La cicatrizzazione normale e patologica
    Tecniche di base in chirurgia plastica:
    - Medicazioni di base ed avanzate
    - Suture
    - Innesti
    - Lembi
    - Impianti
    Principali Malformazioni congenite di interesse specialistico :
    - Malformazioni della Testa e del Collo: labioschisi, palatoschisi, labiopaltaoschisi.
    - Malformazioni del tronco: sindrome di Poland, Pectus Excavatum,
    - Malformazioni degli arti : Sindattilia, Polidattilia,
    - Malformazioni dei genitali esterni: ipospadia, epispadia, atresia vaginale.
    Patologia acquisita traumatica:
    - Traumi meccanici ( ferite semplici e complesse)
    - Traumi fisici ( ustioni, congelamenti, radiodermiti, folgorazioni)

    Chirurgia Plastica nei tumori cutanei: dalla diagnosi alla terapia chirurgica
    - Lesioni precancerose, Basalioma, Spinalioma, melanoma.

    Collaborazione con altre specialità:
    - Chirurgia Oncologica della mammella: la ricostruzione mammaria con impianti protesici e tessuti autologhi.
    - Chirurgia plastica nel paziente obeso ed ex obeso. ( addominoplastica, mastoplastica riduttiva, ginecomastia. )
    Medicina Rigenerativa
    - Le cellule staminali e tessuto adiposo, ingegneria tissutale : applicazioni cliniche.

    Evaluation methods

    Evaluation of student proficiency is based on oral test (viva voce). The oral exam covers all the aspects of the theory ofgeneral Plastic Surgery . The student should be able to discuss on the topic and be able to connect and analyze the different subjects.
    Moreover, the student must have a deep knowledge of the most common tips in Plastic Surgery being able to connect syntoms with diseases. In order to test the acquisition of this ability the student will be asked to solve simple clinical oriented problem, and surgical therapy of burns, and reconstructive surgery og breast. The final grade is expressed in 30/30 were 18 represents the minimum and 30 the maximum

    • Clinic and recognition of the main mammary pathologies
    • Pathophysiology of wound healing
    • Diagnosis and clinic of burn disease
    • Traumas and post-traumatic reconstruction
    • Reconstruction of the Breast, choice of technique
    • Basic techniques of plastic surgery

    Definition and limits of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
    Wound healing: Normal and pathological healing
    Basic techniques in plastic surgery:
    - Basic and advanced medication
    - sutures
    - Grafts
    - Lembi
    - Installations
    Main congenital malformations of specialist interest:
    - Malformations of the Head and Neck: cleft lip, cleft palate, labiopatoschisis.
    - Trunk malformations: Poland syndrome, Pectus Excavatum,
    - Malformations of the limbs: Syndactyly, Polydactyly,
    - Malformations of the external genitalia: hypospadias, epispadias, vaginal atresia.
    Traumatic acquired pathology:
    - Mechanical traumas (simple and complex wounds)
    - Physical injuries (burns, frostbite, radiodermatitis, electrocution)

    Plastic surgery in skin tumors: from diagnosis to surgical therapy
    - Precancerous lesions, Basalioma, Spinalioma, melanoma.

    Collaboration with other specialties:
    - Breast Cancer Surgery: breast reconstruction with prosthetic implants and autologous tissues.
