    Obiettivi formativi

    Course objectives

Objectives of the course are to train the student on the fundamental principles of Anesthesia and Intensive Care (general anesthesia, loco-regional anesthesia, pain therapy, hyperbaric therapy, intensive care, resuscitation).
The student will know the basics of general and loco-regional anesthesia, the indications, the relative and absolute risks and the safety levels of the different techniques. All this will provide the basis for the correct management of the patient to be subjected to a seat/anesthesia, allowing him to put an accurate anesthetic indication for the patients and be able to inform the patient about it.
The course proposes to transmit adequate knowledge in the field of patient assessment (clinical history and data collection, physical and psychological examination, pain assessment); Techniques and drugs of Conscious Sedation and General Anesthesia; Techniques and drugs of local and regional anesthesia; Pain assessment and treatment; Emergency management and ARDS.
Acute pain therapy is usually considered in perioperative treatment about anesthesiology: the most commonly used analgesic protocols and the main pharmacological indications will, therefore, be addressed.
The course will also treat control of vital functions (in the field of intensive care) and in the recovery of the same (field of resuscitation and emergency), the primary systems of monitoring and respiratory and cardiocirculatory assistance that are at the basis of cardiopulmonary resuscitation treatment (CPR).
