The President is elected by the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee from among tenured full and associate professors and remains in office for three academic years. The right to vote is restricted to full professors, associate professors and researchers who are members of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee. The President coordinates the activities of the Degree Programme, convenes and presides over the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee and the Teaching and Educational Committee, and represents the Degree Programme in Academic Assemblies and abroad, in accordance with resolutions passed by the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee (art.6 Degree Course Regulations).

Teaching and Educational Committee (CTP)
The CTP is made up of the President and Vice-President of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee, and 12 (twelve) academic teaching staff, one for each semester, chosen by the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee. A total of 6 (six) students elected to act as student representatives in the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme.
The Committee takes part in the work of the Teaching and Educational Committee as regards those aspects which affect them most closely, and which are governed by internal regulations. The President may appoint up to three further members, who may be given specific responsibilities, to sit on the Teaching and Educational Committee.
The Teaching and Educational Committee remains in office for three academic years, corresponding to the Chair’s three-year term of office. (Art. 6 Course Regulation, Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English)
Roles
1. Identifies learning objectives in the core curriculum and assigns credits according to the total amount of time required by students for their achievement;
2. combines learning objectives in courses that address the learning outcomes of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee;
3. having consulted with the parties involved, proposes the allocation of courses to professors and researchers, taking into account the teaching requirements of the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme as well as the Scientific Disciplinary Sector of individual academic teaching staff, their particular competences and teaching load;
4. plans, together with Coordinators and in cooperation with academic teaching staff, the allocation to professors and researchers of specific teaching duties aimed at achieving the learning objectives of each course, while at the same time ensuring learning effectiveness and recognizing individual competences;
5. decides, together with academic teaching staff, which are the most appropriate teaching methods to achieve specific teaching-learning objectives;
6. organizes the elective activities offered and proposes their implementation to the Medicine and Surgery Degree Programme Committee.
In addition, the Teaching and Educational Committee:
- discusses with academic teaching staff the methods of preparing tests for the assessment of learning, in line with set learning objectives;
- organizes the on-going monitoring of all teaching activities with a quality assessment of their outcomes, including official feedback from students;
- promotes teaching and educational development schemes for academic teaching staff;
- organizes a permanent tutoring system for students in order to facilitate their successful progression through university.

Semester Didactic Coordinators
The Semester Didactic Coordinators are designated by the Degree Course Council and convene the Didactic Coordinators of the Integrated Course and a representation of the students of their semester with organizational and proposal functions for the CTP.
The semester Coordinators actively participate in the tutoring activities and, in collaboration with the Integrated Course Coordinators, guarantee the success of the student orientation, with particular regard to:

The headquarters of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English, belonging to the Department of Precision Medicine, is located S. Andrea delle Dame - Via L. The administrative offices of the School of Medicine and Surgery, the Student Secretariat and the Department of Precision Medicine are located in the area of the Historic Center.
The didactic activities take place in the structures located in the didactic Complex of S. Andrea delle Dame, Largo Madonna delle Grazie, S. Patrizia, and the Policlinico of Piazza Miraglia. The laboratories, multimedia equipment and computer rooms are located in the didactic Complex of S. Andrea delle Dame and S. Patrizia. Internship activities, AFP and TPVES activities are held at the facilities of the first Policlinico (Piazza Miraglia, Naples) and in some pavilions of the second Policlinico Policlinico (Via Pansini, Naples), belonging to the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli.
Lecture hall
The halls used by the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English are located in the didactic complex of S. Andrea delle Dame, Largo Madonna delle Grazie, S. Patrizia and the Policlinico of Piazza Miraglia. These structures are part of a historical and architectural heritage that testifies to the history of the ancient School of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli. The halls are set up for frontal teaching activities and for supplementary teaching activities in small groups. The halls are equipped with a custody service, projector and screen, mobile whiteboard, microphones and amplifiers and wi-fi connection. The management of the halls used by the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English is handled by the School of Medicine and Surgery which, in agreement with the Didactic Area of the Department of Precision Medicine, assigns the halls based on the calendar of lectures and training activities. Laboratories and computer rooms
The laboratories, multimedia equipment and computer rooms used for the training activities of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English are located in the didactic complexes of S. Andrea delle Dame and Santa Patrizia. The laboratories are equipped with standard equipment of technical furniture (counters, cabinets) and sophisticated research equipment. Additional equipment of great impact on the quality of research activities are located in spaces of common use, within the educational complex of S. Andrea delle Dame.
Medical simulators, located in the Complex of S. Andrea delle Dame, ground floor, are available for the virtual practice of managing clinical cases and specific procedures, through the creation of situations and environments adhering to reality. The use of simulators is allowed in the context of lessons and professional training activities, as well as in the internships of medical degree courses.

The library of the Departments of the Medical Area, located in the complex of S. Andrea delle Dame was born mainly as a digital library of the University that offers the following services; on-site access and consultation, consultation of catalogs and databases, bibliographic orientation, research assistance, access to scientific articles and books on all major international platforms (SciFinder Scholar - PUBMED - Scopus - ISI WoS - Pilots) and through the use of the national NILDE service. Through the EDS - All InOne platform it is possible to access all electronic resources including e-journals, full text databases, packages and e-books.
All the electronic resources owned by the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli are accessible in full text from all the computers of the University, enabled through the IP (Internet Protocol) addresses of the PCs. Access is allowed to users from the University even from home with a proxy service.
Online catalogs (OPAC) are available for access to the Sebina SOL and EDS Ebsco Discovery Service catalogs, the discovery tool that also includes the Full text Finder, in which it is possible to search for information on all the monographic and periodical material cataloged. from the University libraries, also recovering their availability and location. There is also a link to access the Share Catalog, a consortium platform that allows you to browse the bibliographic catalogs of consortium universities. Study Rooms
The Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery in English provides students with rooms for individual study, cultural aggregation and collective study. The study rooms, mainly located in the complex of S. Andrea delle Dame, covered by the University's wi-fi service, are open to students from Monday to Friday non-stop, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Most of the spaces are accessible by students with motor disabilities
